Hello, lovelies! We’ve got great news all around this week! These little darlings are looking quite plump and juicy, especially after a run in with an overzealous pest control man last year. We thought they were goners for sure, but nature perseveres! The cicadas are finally gone (more about that here), and our garden has generously provided more potatoes and onions than you can shake a stick at. Not to mention, my littlest little is on day two of Operation Big Girl Panties with only one accident. Could this be my final farewell to diapers? They willl NOT be missed!
Here’s a snippet of our pee-pee-in-the-potty conversation after the purchase of a highly-coveted three-pack of Princess Sofia undies.
Me: “Now, do NOT pee pee or poo poo in your new big girl panties.”
Daughter: “Can I toot in them?”
Great question! Sometimes I forget our kiddos have so much new information to process, I take for granted the need to inform them of the basics — like tooting policies and procedures.
Other things that are making me happy this week…
Hillary Clinton’s on Pinterest (How will she run for President now that all her time will be taken up by making things with cream cheese?)
A new Harry Potter play? Yes, please!
Love these posters depicting the humble beginnings of some of your favorite start-ups.
Yikes! I doubt this blogger knew what she was in for when she posted this on Elle Decor. The peanut gallery really gave her the business. What do you think?
14 different potato salads to try with this week’s potato bounty!
Love-Love-LOVED Inside Out. My four-year old and I teared up at the same time, clasped hands, and had serious MOMENT. It was just the best!
Have a great week!
