Google Apps for Education has changed the way I teach for the better. So many schools are using this awesome (and free!) resource to support blended learning and a digitally-driven workflow. One huge advantage of using Google tools is that teachers can make their classes virtually paperless. Google has a pretty impressive crowd-sourced template library, and it’s getting bigger by the day! Unfortunately, it seems like the filters are very basic and, overall, the education section is lacking.
As a teacher, I love using visuals like charts and graphic organizers to help my students unpack complex information and construct theses and arguments. I also like using things that are pretty and appealing to students! (Who wants another smudgy black-and-white Xerox, right?) So, I am working on creating some templates to share with you via Google Drive. Just click the link, and if you like what you see simply go to File –> Make a Copy, and it’s yours to keep and customize.
